iElectron provides a delivery service for all of our products within the Republic of Ireland, and delivery generally occurs within 2 – 6 working days, provided the item is in stock at the time of purchase. On items under 10KG, delivery is charged at €8.50. An additional €8.50 is charged per each addition 10KG.
Product Returns information
If you have purchased a product and changed your mind, we will accept returns within 14 days of receipt of the item, as long as the item is unopened and the original receipt is provided. Other restrictions may apply to certain items.
What do I need to do in order to return a product?
If you wish to return a product, it must be sent to; iElectron, 13 Cook Street, Cork City, within 14 days of receipt of the item. The product must be unopened and have the receipt attached. Certain items cannot be returned, such as in-ear headphones, opened software, memory and other media as well as any custom configured products.
Cooling Off Period
We have a cooling off period of 14 days with product purchases, which begins on the day that the item is delivered to you. With regard to digital content, the cooling off period expires when the streaming or downloading starts.
Are there any additional product terms?
All refunds will be generated using the same method that the original payment was made. Products can only be returned in the country they were purchased in. In the event that the purchased item includes a security seal, these items can only be returned if the security seal has not been tampered with. Purchases that are made pursuant to a mobile phone contract are subject to the terms of said contract, and you may not be able to return the item under the terms of the contract, so please check the terms of this contract before committing to it. With regard to any promotional items included in a purchase, these items must also be returned, or if not, the corresponding value or discount will be deducted from the refund amount.
iElectron Gift Cards are non-refundable. When a gift card is used to make payments for items, and the total value of the card is not used in that purchase, then the remainder will be left on the card and available to use on your next purchase. iElectron Gift cards can only be redeemed in iElectron stores and must be used within the country of purchase. iElectron gift cards must be used in full within 12 months of the original issue date. Once this 12 month period has elapsed, the gift card becomes void and cannot be extended. Except as otherwise provided by applicable law, your contract with iElectron Repairs Limited and these Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the applicable country.
What if my item is faulty?
If you purchased a faulty product you should call our sales team on 021-2397669 to organise the return of the item as soon as possible after the discovery of an issue. You must also provide the original receipt or proof of purchase. Once we have received the product back to our premises, we will investigate the issue. If the item is deemed to have been faulty at the time of sale, we will repair or replace the item, or offer you a refund for the purchase in accordance with the law.
Your Consumer Rights
Consumer contracts are protected by the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 in Ireland. Under this legislation, there are a number of rights that the purchaser has, including that;
Goods must be of merchantable quality
Goods must be fit for purpose.
Goods must be as-described.
The above rights are not excluded from a purchase or product which also features an extended warranty or a manufacturer’s warranty. There may also be situations where you are not entitled to a remedy. If you require any further information about your consumer rights, you can visit the www.nca.ie.
